The top of Dell OptiPlex Micro range: an eight-core, sixteen-thread i7-10700T in a 1.2-litre box that mounts behind a monitor. This is the one for people who want desktop performance without a desktop on the floor - CAD viewing, virtual machines, big spreadsheets, heavy multitasking and dual monitors, all from a machine the size of a hardback book. It runs quietly and draws a fraction of the power of a tower, which matters when it is on all day. The 7000 series is Dell commercial flagship, so it comes with vPro remote management and the longest support life of the OptiPlex lines. Parts and chargers are easy to find locally, which is not true of every small-form-factor machine. Ships with 8GB and a free slot taking it to 64GB, plus a spare M.2 bay. Ex-UK, tested before listing. Superior Centre, 3rd Floor, Shop J4, Nairobi CBD.
