Built for school bags, which is exactly why it suits anyone who is hard on a laptop. The ThinkPad 11e Yoga Gen 6 was designed for classrooms, so Lenovo wrapped it in rubber bumpers, tested it to MIL-STD-810G, fitted a spill-resistant keyboard and anchored the ports and hinges to survive being dropped into a bag a few times a week. The Core m3-8100Y runs without a fan, so it is silent and has no vent to clog with dust. With 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD it handles browsing, Office, Zoom and coursework comfortably - this is a second machine, a student machine, or a knock-about travel laptop, not a video editor. The 360-degree hinge turns it into a tablet for reading and note-taking, and the touchscreen takes pen input. At this price it is one of the cheapest genuinely durable laptops we stock.
